How can I or my place of business help Kids' Meals?
Kids' Meals has many possibilities for volunteers and donors.
If a volunteer can hold a crayon, they can volunteer with us! Small children can come and decorate bags for the lunches to go in. It is so important for children to know they can make a difference in their community.
You can volunteer either on site at 205 W. Crosstimber St. or at another establishment (church, temple, school, ect...) by making sandwiches and/or lunches.
- You can go out on a route with or without a driver and delivery food to the children.
- You can donate a simple cash donation, food, or any other tangible items that can help Kid's Meals
- You could host a food drive. Food drives are welcome throughout the year, especially during the summer and holiday months. Kids' Meals will be happy to speak with your group and/or bring you information to distribute to your group.
- Below are six steps for hosting a successful food drive.
- First step, let us know you are interested in hosting the food drive.
- Second step, decide when, where, and who will lead the food drive.
- Third step, decide what you want to collect and for how long the drive will last.
- Setting a goal for the collected items is a great way to keep people motivated.
- Fourth step, promote your food drive by letting people know by posting flyers and sending out letters and emails.
- Fifth step, start collecting the donated items.
- Keep track of what is donated so everyone will know the progress.
- Sixth step, coordinate with Kids' Meals about pick ups and/or drop offs of the food drive items.
- Please let Kids' Meals know if you have any questions or need ideas for making the most out of your drive!

Kids' Meals is also open the third Saturday of each month for volunteers to come out and make sandwiches. Volunteers must call in advance to make arrangements to volunteer on the third Saturday.
Once you have decided where you can best serve Kids' Meals, please contact our office to make the appropriate arrangements.
